Talent
Training is an essential part of being a Key West Fishing Team guide. We constantly teach each other about many facets of guiding here in our very versatile location. Training is spear headed by Capt. Steven Lamp - US Coast Guard Veteran, and licensed capatain since 1986 Capt. Steven is dedicated to sharing with the team everything he has learned since 1992 when he started Dream Catcher Charters and guiding full time in 1994.
My only wish when I started guiding is that I had a person like myself shareing with me the knowledge base of 20 years of guiding. Then with a young mans energy I would have been able to compound on that knowledge and been an even better fishing guide for those clients that fished with me many years ago.
Not only does Capt. Steven share his veteran guiding knowledge with The team he also ensures that safety and customer service is Paramount.
 I have found that in my carreer it was not the fishing that made a great day. It was how the customers felt towards my efforts and the way I treated them that was rewarding. My job and the job of any fishing guide is not only to find and catch fish, heck thats the easy part, Its to show people a great - safe time on the water with boats and equipment that we are proud to use. It's my job and the job of any fishing guide for sake of survival to ensure each and every client wants to come back and fish with me again.
Fishing with the crew here at The Key West Fishing Team of Dream Catcher Charters is a priveledge not only for the guides selected to be among this elite group but for me to be the head of it. These guys work hard to show people an incredible fishing adventure, I can see it in their eyes when they come in with the poeple at the end of the day and the excitment of the people telling me how great it was. I am proud to be fishing with a group like this. I would put them up against ANY fishing guide in Key West on any level.
Fishing with the Key West Fishing Team our anglers are always on the water with the Network. As a team we are always comunicating with each other to find out how to show our anglers a better time.
